“I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Psalm 139:14
It’s unbelievable! There are people who have priceless gems right under their noses and they don’t even know it! Perhaps there is a gem in your house that you haven’t discovered yet. If so, this is your blessed day!
Welcome back! Thanks for visiting today. I’ve been thinking about you during my busy week. I’ve been looking forward to writing to you and reminding you that you are loved by me, but most of all you are loved by God.
Did you know that you are wonderfully made? Every so often, God reminds me of this truth. Really, now that I think about it, God tries His best to get my attention daily to let me know that I am uniquely created. In fact, no one is exactly like me or like you. He took great care in designing you… all for His pleasure.
Before the beginning of time, your Heavenly Father decided exactly the DNA you would need to be successful. He poured into you the personality, passions, and experiences that would inspire others to trust you and love you. This is so that when you placed your life in His Almighty hands and allowed Him to shape your character, your heart, and transform (elevate) your thinking, you would shine and shine and shine!
Psalm 24 begins with, “The earth is the Lord’s and everything in it, the world, and all who are in it.” (NIV) That includes you. You belong to Him. Of course you do! He made you and He would never give you away. How do I know? He says that nothing will ever separate you from His love (Romans 8:35-39).
Tomorrow, I would like to share with you more that God has taught me about how priceless each one of us is. Until then, I’d like to share with you a passage of scripture written by Paul, an early follower and apostle of Jesus Christ, who went through many difficulties. He wrote his own “blog” telling us what his experiences taught him about God’s love. I hope that this passage of his letter will be a blessing to you on your journey today.
35. Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall trouble or hardship or persecution or famine or nakedness or danger or sword? 36. As it is written: “For your sake we face death all day long; we are considered as sheep to be slaughtered.” 37. No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. 38. For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord. Romans 8:35-39 (NIV)
Love,
T’Alice
Question for today – What did you think would keep God from loving you?
